About The Doctor
Dr. Christopher Sakkaris is a periodontist. Periodontists are dentists that specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of gum disease, including the surgical placement of dental implants. Dr. Sakkaris can perform various cosmetic and regenerative procedures to help you achieve the smile you desire.
EDUCATION
Dr. Sakkaris graduated from The University of Michigan School of Dentistry, with a DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree. His specialty training in Periodontics was obtained after the completion of a three year surgical residency with the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Dr. Sakkaris’ clinical and research activities involve an emphasis in periodontal regeneration and implant reconstruction techniques.
TEACHING
Dr. Sakkaris serves as a part-time clinical faculty member with the Postgraduate Periodontal Program at the Univeristy of Colorado, School of Dental Medicine.
BOARD CERTIFICATION
Dr. Sakkaris is a Diplomate of the American Board of
Periodontology. His initiative to obtain his Board Certification
aids the public in selecting practitioners with a high regard
for furthering their field of practice with an emphasis on a
high level of patient care.

Dr. Sakkaris and his wife, Tracey, moved to the Denver Metro Area in 2006. They have been blessed with two beautiful sons, Nicholas and Matthew.
